New bicycle path along Rokytna in Libeň district
In September 2009 a new section of bicycle path in Libeň within the A26 bicycle route was opened. It has significantly improved passage along Rokytka between the streets U Rokytky a Čuprova.

Due to the new bicycle path, passage through this area is now significantly more comfortable and safer. Traffic regime allows pedestrian and bicycle path on either the shared or the separated paths. This measure concerned construction of a paved bicycle path in the total length of 654 meters, new street lights, landscaping including planting new trees and costly railings above the Rokytka creek bed.

In spite of the endeavours to make it safe, there still remain a few areas where caution needs to be taken.
Plans on consequent bicycle infrastructure to be built on both ends of the new section are already in preparation in order to provide for a safe bicycle passage from A 2 bicycle route (the intersection at the gate to Rokytka) to Hloubětín. Especially the eastern section should offer good conditions for safer and smoother passage through the area thanks to the bicycle path soon to be finalized on the previous rail tracks leading to a closed ČKD Lokomotivka factory.
